Some members of our family struggle with impulsivity, so we practice slowing thoughts down and thinking through decisions and anticipating the consequences of our actions. Other members struggle with the frustrating absence of memory when it would be SUPER helpful to remember stuff. So we also practice skills to help jog memory or keep us organized when we know our minds just won't help us out.
Our youngest son is benefiting from all he overhears, whether he needs the skills or not. So when it was time to go see Daddy graduate, this is what he looked like:

When you go to a strange college to celebrate your dad, it always helps to be prepared - for swimming, welding, or any natural disaster that might threaten your eyes.
